Wissenschaft und Forschung

an der Melittaklinik

Seit 2007 betreibt die Villa Melitta (seit 2020 Melittaklinik) aktiv Forschung, um die Erfahrungen aus der klinischen Praxis in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Anwendern und international renommierten Wissenschaftlern in einen industriellen Entwicklungsprozess einzugliedern. Das Ziel ist es, Geräte, Therapiekonzepte und Behandlungspfade zu entwickeln, die sowohl die Therapie als auch die klinischen Abläufe effizienter und effektiver machen.

Partner unserer Wissenschaftstätigkeit sind die Universität Verona, die Charité in Berlin und das Max-Planck-Institut für Neuropsychologie in München, projektbezogene Partnerschaften bestehen mit der Universität Innsbruck und der Harvard Universität in Boston.

Im Austausch mit diesen Arbeitsgemeinschaften entstanden viele wissenschaftliche Artikel in internationalen Fachzeitschriften. Aus der Forschungsarbeit der letzten Jahre wurden verschiedene Innovationen entwickelt, u.a. der bis heute weltweit modernste Gangroboter in der Neurorehabilitation, der G-EO.

Die Forschungsarbeit wird seit 2021 durch die Zusammenarbeit mit der Stiftung ISAAC intensiviert.

Melittaklinik Academy

Seit 2012 ist unsere Struktur als provinziale CME-Anbieterstruktur akkreditiert. Jedes Jahr wird ein Aus- und Weiterbildungsplan für alle Mitarbeiter definiert und umgesetzt. Im Tiefparterre befindet sich ein Kongresssaal, in welchem interne und externe Weiterbildungen und Veranstaltungen abgehalten werden, sowie Schulungen und Trainings in Videokonferenz weltweit angeboten werden können. Ein Operationssaal ist als Lehrsaal eingerichtet: durch eine direkte Video- und Audioverbindung können im Kongresssaal neue OP-Techniken auf der Leinwand verfolgt werden.
